first tell me why you want to change 2 to 3.5year? 

If it is for sake of knowledge mean you want more knowledge of accounts, marketing, finance  and your graduation(BA)  is not business and commerce than convert it. Another fact is that now a days in market there is shortage of jobs so spend a year in university.
