Q Draw an E-R diagram for each of the following situations:

1. A University [Entity-01] has many [One-to-Many] departments [Entity-02] whereas each department belongs to that particular [One-to-One] university. That university has also many [One-to-Many] buildings [Entity-03] whereas each building belongs to that particular university [One-to-One]. The University also has many [One-to-Many] employees [Entity-04] whereas each employee belongs to that particular university [One-to-One]. Every employee has only one [One-to-One] parking space [Entity-05] whereas each parking space belongs to only one [One-to-One] employee. Department offers many [One-to-Many] study programs [Entity-06] whereas each programs offered by only a single [One-to-One] department. 7.5 Marks
2. In a shopping Store [Entity-01] there are many [One-to-Many]  supervisors [Entity-02]whereas each supervisor belongs to one[One-to-One]  store. Product [Entity-03] belongs to a single [Many-One] vendor [Entity-04] whereas vendor provides so many [One-to-Many] products. Product belongs to a single [One-to-One] category [Entity-05] whereas category has many [One-to-Many]  products. A category belongs to a single [One-to-One]  shelf [Entity-06] in a store whereas a shelf may have more than one [One-to-Many] categories' products.7.5 Marks

Guidelines / Instructions

It is required to draw Entity Relationship Diagrams for each of the upper situations using Chen's notation.
