        First of all, I felt hearty pleasure to know that u want to go for PHD. Our country really needs such a Scalars who can change the pathetic condition faced by our land. As such ur question is concerned, for PHD, there is 18 Years education( MA.M.SC,MBA), MS or PHD is required. However, some universities are offering admissions directly to PHD.  In this case, U need to pass M.Phil leading to PHD, when u will pass ur M.Phil with at least CGPA 3, then u will be transferred to PHD. It really depends upon the University Policy.
