Tere intizaar ki rait pay,
Koi lafz mene likha na tha,
Koi harf mene kaha na tha,
Koi khwaab mene chuna na tha,

Isi intizaar ki rait pay,
Meri arzoo k gulab thay,
Meri justaju k saraab thay,
Sabhi chahton k jawab thay,

Sabhi hasratain wo kahan gain,
Teri chahtain wo kahan gain,

Mere humnasheen mere humnawa,
Main palat k shayed na aa sakon,

Isi intizaar ki rait pay,
Main bikhar gaya hoon hawaon may,
Mujhe yaad rakhna duwaoon may,
MUJHE YAAD RAKHNA DUWAOON MAY.
