BOHAT MASOOM HASRAT HAI

Bohat maasoom hasrat hai batao kya kia jay..?
Mujhy tum sy mohabbat hai batao kya kia jay..?
Jo suraj dubta hai to dil bhi apna dub jata hai..?
Ajeeb si apni halat hai batao kya kia jay..?
Tum sy milny ki chahat meri kab hai..?
Dil-e-naada'n ki yeh zid hai batao kya kia jay..?
 

 

 

مٹی کے جتنے گھر میں‌بناتا چلا گیا۔
اِک شخص خفا ہو کے گِراتا چلا گیا۔

وہ مجھ سے بہت دور دور بھاگتا رہا،
جتنا میں اُس کے ناز اُٹھاتا چلا گیا۔

اِک میرے واسطے ہی اُس نے درد رکھے تھے،
باقی تو وہ ہر اِک کو ہنساتا چلا گیا۔

تھی ہاتھ میں‌طاقت پر دل نہیں مانا،
اُس کے سوا میں‌سب کو ہراتا چلا گیا۔

دل میں اُس کی یاد کے جتنے چراغ تھے روشن،
اُن کو بھی ستم گر وہ بُجھاتا چلا گیا۔
