یار بھی راہ کی دیوار سمجھتے ہیں مجھے
میں سمجھتا تھا میرے یار سمجھتے ہیں مجھے

میں تو چپ ہوں کہ اندر سے بہت خالی ہوں
کچھ لوگ پر اسرار سمجھتے ہیں مجھے

میں بدلتے ہوئے حالات میں ڈھل جاتا ہوں
دیکھنے والے فنکار سمجھتے ہیں مجھے

وہ جو اِس پار ہیں ان کےلئے اُس پار ہوں میں
وہ جواُس پار ہیں اِس پار سمجھتے ہیں مجھے

نیک لوگوں میں‌مجھے نیک گِنا جاتا ہے
اور گناہگار ، گناہ گار سمجھتے ہیں مجھے
