The basic role of promotion is to say to potential customers and sales teams and others in a market, that the right product is available for them at convenient places at convenient prices, as well. Very often through promotion information about access to a product is said, for example credits, leasing. In marketing to achieve the goals of a company, a set of instruments is used to influence the market and maximise sales together with profit. A well-chosen set and combination of these elements composes a good marketing-mix.
