U r right Sir, I am working with CSP officers, mostly with me are CSP officers even my bro in law is also SSP and he also done his CSS without any approach. Dear Friends! I just read this thread. I feel that there is some misperception here. Please note following: a. CSS is competative Exam and passing will not guarentee induction into Civil Services. b. Work hard and get top position, that would guarentee the induction. Each Exam is fresh one, and no last candidate is taken into account for fresh entries. Hope the point is somewhat clear?     yes Usman you are right, those who have the experince regarding any competitive exams know these matters, government is toooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much corrupt, if u get passed even than it is impossible to get job. Tabhis Bhai u have always done a great job regardless of any reward. U always remained there to help the students and u know u are now very well known among the VU stutends as i have seen ur solved papers in most the studetens hands.  And I feel much happy to see that.
