May be the difference between two students is that one had passed the STA-630 course and 2nd could not pass the same subject. Therefore VU did not offer him to select the intership. For internship program student must have to pass STA-630. Eligibility Criteria   1   No student below 1.75 CGPA will be allowed to take the project title. 1  MCS/MIT Students must have completed 30 credit hours to become eligible for taking the final project. So don't enroll in CS619 course or drop your cs619 course if you have already enrolled, but you have earned less than 30 credit hours. 1  BSCS/BSIT Students must have completed 90 credit hours to become eligible for taking the final project. i think the difference is credit hours. " 63 cr = 21 subjects", and "45cr = 15 subjects" so the student with 1.3gpa has earned 45 cr hrs  and studied 15 subjects so he has remaing courses to improve the cpga while 63 cr hr has studied 21 subjects and has no chance  to improve cpga.
