Intended Readers: All students who are enrolled for the first tine in CS619 (Final Project) in Spring 2011 Semester.
There are two different ways to select the project:
1) Selecting the Project From The List of Projects Offered by R&D Section
Final Project Titles for Spring 2011 Semester have been announced. Below is the link to view the Final Project Titles and
the important details about the new projects.
Project Titles and General Guidelines Document
The further details for each project is available in LMS under CS619 course. If you need further guidance
contact the respective supervisor, the email ids are already mentioned in Project Titles and General Guidelines Document.
Students are required to make the selection carefully after reading Project Titles and General Guidelines Document and
project details from LMS under CS619 course.
Eligible students should select their respective project title and group member (if any) till 7th April 2011

2) Selecting a Project by Sending Project Proposal
Students can also send project proposals if they want to do the projects other than the proposed projects.
It is compulsory to follow the template for submitting project proposal and this template
can be downloaded from here.
The students should submit the proposal through email at cs619@vu.edu.pk till 5th April 2011
A committee will review the student's proposals for new projects. Committee has the right to
accept or reject any proposal.
Send the requests via email in following format:
Subject of Email should be: Request for Custom Project
Group Members IDs:
i) Write student id for first member
ii) Write student id for second member (in case there are two members)
Attach the project proposal with the e-mail.
Important Points:
· Request for the project titles and groups will be entertained only once, so select a project title and group members very carefully.
· The list for eligible groups for final projects will be published on 14th April 2011.
· A submission calendar (schedule) will be provided on completion of the registration process for the offered projects.
· Final Project would be discarded any time if any student found not enrolled in CS619 course.
· Final Project work will not be entertained any time if any student's fee status is not cleared.
