project or internship does not effect CGPA its marks are not included in CGPA because of VU policy and VU only awarded PASS or FAIL remarks against project or internship. This is compusory for getting degree otherwise u don't have any other option. Project is specially designed for those students who are doing jobs and have not enough time to do Internship and on the other hand Internship is for non-employees students and Project is typically difficult as compare to internship. My opinion is that if u r able to do internship then this will be very effective for completion of ur degree.
