Wo jo palko ke nazaakat

 

Wo tasvvur jo akele me hasata tha kabhi

Wo ek shaks khayalo me jo aata tha kabhi

 

Jiske aane se hawao se mehek uthti thi

Wo jo chalta huva saba ko jalata tha kabhi

 

Jiske hasi ne gulo ko bhi saliqa baksha

Jo tehalta huva lehro ko sikhata tha kabhi

 

Saare taaro ki chamak mand kiye deta tha

Wo jo palko ke nazaakat se uthata tha kabhi

 

Ab ke dushwar hai kyon uska tasvvur karna

Jiska chehra meri yaado ko sajata tha kabhi..
