Re: ::: vuaskari.com ::: cs507 _assignment important notice

in closed loop system, Data/Info after Output can be used for input.... AS FEEDBACK.

It is clearly an Open Loop System as the Flow is One Way only and Nothing is being reverted back into the process.

here Diagram Given in Assignment contains Control mechanism (Shows its an Closed Loop System) Bt As u can see clearly, Nothing is being coming back after OUTPUT Process... So This is a clear sign of OPEN LOOP SYSTEM.

Bow we have to decide which One to chooose. In my Pesonal oinion As No data is being coming back .... ITS OPEN LOOP.... ALSO Diagrams of OPEN LOOP SYSTEM on Web justify it as an OPEN LOOP SYSTEM.

7.3.1 Open-Loop System
The determinant factor is in an open loop system is that the information from the system not used for
control purpose. This is done by using the output to generate feed back for control purposes.
• The output is not coupled to the input for measurement.
Hence the components of open loop system do not include control and feedback mechanism due to
non-existence of internally defined objectives. That is,
o
Input
o
Process
o
Output
Example
An information system that automatically generates report on regular basis and are not used to monitor
input or activities.
7.3.2 Closed Loop System
• Is a system where part of the output is fed back to the system to initiate control to change
Either the activities of the system or input of the system
Has the ability to control the output due to existence of

after discussion on this assignment we concluded that :

I agree that the second part is cleary Open loop as there is absence of feed back, but
I think part 1 should include the attributes of the CBIS which are important in the design, What do you think. The attributes include:

Effecient processing,

 large storage capacity,

Reduced Information load, etc.

please consider attributes of CBIS while attempting the 1st question of This assignment
