مدتوں بیٹھا ترے ہنگامہ عشرت میں میں
روشنی كی جستجو كرتا رہا ظلمت میں میں
مدتوں ڈھونڈا كیا نظارءہ گل خار میں
آہ ، وہ یوسف نہ ہاتھ آیا ترے بازار میں
چشم حیراں ڈھونڈتی اب اور نظارے كو ہے
آرزو ساحل كی مجھ طوفان كے مارے كو ہے
