You can’t rely only on information system. Human involvement is necessary to dig out the realities for decision making. There are many users entering data in information system and there is always chances of wrong data entry due to certain reasons; may be due to lack of knowledge about information system using there as well as reports which are generated by the system may have mistakes to club up the data. (Just my point of view; may be wrong)

Suppose, you are working as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in a garments manufacturing company and have to take decisions regarding some business strategies to gain competitive advantage. Currently your organization is using a computer based information system in order to facilitate the decision making process.

As you know that business environment is continuously changing and needs quick and accurate decisions. So as a CEO, will you rely on information systems for decision making or you should take some other measures (e.g. human involvement without information system) in order to take effective decisions.
