بھارت اور پاکستان کا کلچر ایک جیسا ہے۔ وہ بھی شلغم پالک کے شیدائی ہیں اور پاکستان کی عوام بھی۔ سرحدوں کے آر پار عوام کا رہن سہن اور رسوم ایک جیسی ہیں۔ پاکستان کی بد قسمتی ہے کہ ہمارے لیڈر بشمول محترمہ بے نظیر بھٹو ، الطاف حسین اور مولانا فضل الرحمن ، عمران خان بھارتی میڈیا کے سامنے جا کر معذرتی اور دفاعی رویہ کیوں اختیار کر لیتے ہیں۔ جب کہ 25جون 2002ء کو صدر پرویز مشرف نے آگرہ میں بھارتی میڈیا کے سامنے پاکستان کا مضبوط مؤقف اختیار کرتے ہوئے انہیں پسپائی پر مجبور کر دیا تھا۔
ہمارے لیڈر اپنے اور اپنے ملک کے بارے میں اس قدر شدید احساس کمتری کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے شرمندگی کیوں نہیں محسوس کرتے۔میاں نواز شریف نے آرمی چیف کے بارے میں طنزیہ ریمارکس دئیے۔ اس بات کا بھارت سے کیا تعلق ہے کہ پاکستان کا آرمی چیف کس کے آگے جواب دہ ہے۔ میاں نواز شریف بھارت کی خوشنودی حاصل کرنے کے لئے پاکستان آرمی اور آئینی حکومت کے درمیان تعلقات کی وضاحت کرتے ہوئے پاکستان کے آئین کی کھلم کھلا خلاف ورزی کرتے ہوئے نظر آرہے ہیں۔ میاں نواز شریف کی کم شعوری کا پورا پورا فائدہ بھارتی میڈیا نے اٹھایا۔ نواز شریف اقتدار میں آنے کے بعد اگر نہیں 11مئی 2013ء کو عوام نے موقع فراہم کیا اور انہوں نے کارگل اور ممبئی کے معاملات پر بھارتی خواہش پر کارگل کمیشن بنانے کا عمل شروع کیا تو پھر 12 اکتوبر 1999ء کی تاریخ ایسی دہرائی جائے گی کہ پاکستان جمہوریت سے ہاتھ دھو بیٹھے گا۔
